this is the ancient religious idea of Animism: or the philosophy that everything has a soul (rocks, dust, pebbles, trees, etc). This idea extends to how you treat each object and wat each object can tell ypu. I doubt OP actually thinks like this, as most if not all animism belief systems were in hunter gatherer societies, or in aboriginal settlements.
